I was born in Sulphur Springs, Texas and grew up in Cooper, Texas my whole life. I lived the normal small town life that you see in the movies. I went to school with about forty of my graduating class of sixty for all 13 years of school. We basically grew up together like a family. No secrets ever lasted very long and everyone knew what everyone else was always doing. School was fun. I participated in everything from playing in the classic Friday night spectacles that we call football here in Texas to state UIL competitions in computer programming and almost mathematics. After high school, I left my small hometown to go off to college. I earned a full ride scholarship to Mississippi State University to study computer engineering. I stayed in Mississippi for three semesters, but eventually realized that engineering was not what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. That is when I moved back to Texas and started at Texas A&M-Commerce. After my first accounting class at A&M-Commerce, I decided to major in accounting. Now, several years later, I am getting closer to graduating. Maybe some day I will get there.
