**Please, I understand that not all people agree with car shows, or even car clubs, but please don’t flame this thread with your derogatory opinions.**


Deflicted Conversions Car and Truck club wants YOU!

We are now accepting applications for new membership. Deflicted Conversions was founded in 1994 and has been an active participant in every major car show in Texas since then. Now, when considering whether you would like to join or not, you should be aware of a few advantages of being in a car club...

Advantages to being in a car club
-Meet new people
-Be surrounded by people that are interested in what YOU are interested in
-Get support and help customizing your car
-Club Price at the shop for paint and body work
-Be a member of a club at large events.

Now, the main point of being in a car club obviously is to be apart of a group that shares your interests and hobby’s. Going to shows are a great way to check out other cars and trucks, as well as show off your own. Also, at a show, just like at a club meeting, you are surrounded by people that share your common interest. You can get lotsa great ideas from other people.

DC is looking for more members to increase the productivity of the club, as well as give members an outlet to talk about their rides, get help on customization, and support with your vehicle.

To be considered for membership you have to have at least 3 Modifications. Three bolt-ons count as one mod. All of the following count as a mod.
-Aftermarket Wheels
-Aftermarket Exhaust System
-Aftermarket Stereo System
-Aftermarket Paint Job
-Aftermarket Suspension Job
-Engine Swaps
*Intake, CD Deck, Altezzas* = 1 Mod

Members are not required to put a DC sticker anywhere on their car if they dont choose to. Also, any sticker that you DO decide to put on their can be

-any color
-any size
-any design

So obviously theres alot of leniancy..

Meetings are sundays at 7pm, at the McDonalds in Forney. You have to attend 3 meetings to be considered for membership. Then, pending your mod's, vehicle, attitude, etc, you will be voted into the club.

Thats why were deflicted. Its a conversion because its different that what it was before. We have converted our vehicles to be better, different, upgraded that the way it came. But not everyone understands why, hence Deflicted Conversions.

And BTW, just because its on the internet dosent make it any less real than if you had said it to my face. If you walk up to me and say "im gonna fuckin kill you" and mean it, ill will be alarmed and concerned. Also as such, if you were to post on MMC " im going to fuckin kill jared" I WOULD NOT say, " oh, he was on his computer! he must not be for real. Hes just joking! HAHAHA. What a wiseinhimer! man, he almost had me!"

No, I would be just as concerned no matter the circumstances. My feelings can be affected by not only what i hear but by also what I see. Im still a real person reading everything you and everyone else says.
