Opening teh Presents!!

Our family opens presents on Christmas Eve then we get "Santa" presents on Christmas Day.. how does your family do it?

what is the point of christmas eve? Its just giving into the materialistic value of christmas. Trying to get your presents earlier and earlier.

Its just like the stores who were selling christmas decoratiosn back in october (i was at target looking at haloween candy, and saw chrsitmas stuff in the back).

we've had a radio station playing christmas music since mid-october. How could they replace the eagle with that?

We've always done it in the morning. Usually, my brother, sister, and I will open our presents to eachother the night before and the rest will be opened in the morning.

It never really gets old, does it? I mean, I don't really get excited and anxious waiting for xmas to come anymore, but it's always a really nice time when it does come. Everyone pretends to be nice, ...it's good stuff.

Christmas isn't really a big thing at my house. We make a turkey though.

my grandparents are old school Russian and it's a tradition there to open and celebrate on Christmas Eve so we've always done that -- so Christmas Day really isn't very interesting....it's actually kind of boring...

we open pjs on christmas eve cause my mom doesnt want pictures of ugly pjs.
