Before you vote, listen to what I have to say!
*wait a few minutes
Jared

Now, first, let me say I dont appericiate you making the vote one sided, you could have just made it "yes, or no" but NO, you just have to be cute.
Anyways,
I ask brandon as a favor to my parents, to the parents of the children that she keeps, and the children and parents of my church and blockbuster.
The kids at my mothers daycare, and as ive found out, surrounding middle and elementary schools idolize us. And when they ask their parents to help them onto our site, they just randomonly click videos.
Many times, they are suprised by the vulgar laungage in our videos.
Personal friends of my parents, and of myself, accidentally expose their children to videos that they thought would be harmless (they base what they think the video is going to contain compared to my normal friendly, kid loving, attitude).
At church "werent you in that naughty video?".
Or at my HOUSE, "I didnt appericiate my child viewing that".
Granted, yes, they should control what their child see's, it would play a much bigger role in helping the parents to make that decision, if they had a small red W, or MA, next to videos that could be potintially offensive.
This would warn any parents viewing the site, as well as save our as in the fact that we could say, "we warned you".
Besides, how long would it take to add this, like 5 minutes? WTF? This is a personal favor to ME and my family, and if you have to put that up for a POLL, instead of just honoring a simple, reasonable, request from my parents and myself, then what kind of friend are you at ALL?
Its not like you listen to votes anyways (cowmooflauge). You'll just do what you want to do.
I dont care. I just ask, that for the good of everyone, and my own personal reputation, as well as t hereputation of my mother, please add a small warning to potintially offensive videos for children.

you might as well. If y'all ever get very mainstream you're going to have to anyway, since you have to get a disclaimer on like EVERYTHING.
BTW, Jared...if you don't want to hurt your 'reputation', how about you just stop doing things in videos that are publicly viewed that might hurt that 'reputation'?

**This is Jareds Mom**
I have alot of respect for you guy's and your privacy, as you are well aware. However, your consistent refusal to post warnings on the web site strikes me as not only unreasonable, but immature. Noone is trying to restrict your personal right to expression, only their possibly very young, childs access to it. This is not only reasonable, but legally prudent.A general disclaimer that absovled the web site as a whole, of any responsibility as to content is a prudent action, and as the web master, you should obviously step up.I would welcome the opportunity to discuss this face to face. As you,and most everyone else is aware, free speech has always been encouraged in this house.

Kinda hard,
When every car ive ever DRIVEN is parked, whaddya know, IN FRONT OF THE DAYCARE! NTM, my clothes..
I dont give it out, they just KNOW. Hell, they would find out anyways, as our website is a hit at the local schools.
As for my actions in the videos, we ALL used to abstain from cursing, and we just kinda,, stopped. Cursing, or anything else, is fine in our videos, as long as we give a warning.
Also, I cant believe that my mom just posted! Thats the first thing that I have ever seen her post. She feel's very strongly about it.
The disclaimer brandon added looks fine to me, It just needs to be in RED, so that it is viseable.

eh just do it... not that big of a deal. which is more reasonable... putting a lil disclaimer, or getting sued... i vote disclaimer. however, i do feel that it's stupid that parents would complain about something like that when you can turn on TV and watch prime time shows that say many cuss words *shrug*

FUCK A DISCLAIMER IN THE SKULL WITH A RUSTY FUCKING SPIKE (Mega-rant on)
Where are the parents here people? Get fucking real, FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK SHIT ASS BITCH PUSSY CUNT SLUT GODDAMN PIECE OF SHIT ASSHOLE
I hope a bunch of 5 year olds read that shit. Know where I picked up cussing from? Not from video games or movies, but SCHOOL! Parents need to fucking buck up and realize that they will NEVER be able to protect their kids from fucking bad shitty language. It's just not going to happen. Decency and good language starts with the PARENTS, it's not the responsibility of Brandon to post a fucking disclaimer for a bunch of pussy hurt parents who can't teach their kids that they shouldn't curse or whatever.
YA KNOW WHAT JARED, IF SOME DOUCHE BAG PARENT DOESN'T FUCKING APPRECIATE THEIR KID WATCHING THE VIDEOS THAT YOU DECIDED TO BE IN, TELL THEM TO REGULATE WHAT THEIR KIDS FUCKING WATCH!!!!!!!!! DO THEY SPONSOR MMC OR CONTRIBUTE ANY MONEY TO THIS SITE AT ALL? FUCK NO! DOES MMC HAVE ANY SPONSORS THAT GIVE A SHIT ABOUT THE LANGUAGE IN THE VIDEOS? NO.
Whew. OK, so, I guess the disclaimer at the top of the download menu is OK, but the minute that the videos are actually being edited to include disclaimers, that will be the ultimate bullshit. Actually put a disclaimer at the videos, and make it say, "HEY PARENTS, WE FUCKING CUSS! BIG FUCKING DEAL! YOUR KIDS ARE GOING TO HEAR SHIT LIKE THIS THE REST OF THEIR LIVES! FUCKING EITHER GET OVER IT OR DON'T LET YOUR KIDS WATCH THE FUCKING VIDEOS!" That'd be greeeeeaaaattt.
Sorry Jared, the world can't be protected and sugar coated from FUCKING bad language. It just doesn't work like that. If you don't want people to give you shit about the videos you are in, then don't associate yourself with MMC anymore. Simple as that.
EDIT: Hey, after reading this, can you still breathe? are you FUCKING bleeding? Can you still walk and function properly? That's right, you read all these "FUCKING AWFUL" words and you're still alive and well, just as you were right before you read this, SO FUCK OFF!
I love cursing, btw. FUCKITY FUCK FUCK SHIT BITCH.

I was going to say the same, but with less hostility and cussing. Kinda well said, Kenny :D
Parents need to pay attention to what their kids are watching. If they aren't watching, it isn't like the kid is going to turn away from the site or video because of a silly disclaimer. If anything, it will entice them to watch it.
I think a disclaimer is silly and pointless, especially considering the videos. Nothing dislcaimer worthy even happens. I mean, maybe a dislcaimer saying 'we don't recommend being evil pricks and toying with hard working fast food employees" ...but other than that. ;)
But yes.. parents need to monitor and PARENT their kids.
This is almost as silly as the PTC attacking sponsers of TV shows they find to be immoral on TV. Ironically, if they spent more time parenting their kids instead of doing this, they could easily stop them from watching it. BUt instead, they think no one should be allowed to watch it simply because they disapprove.
But alas, I digress since I just went off topic hardcore.

While I agree that parents should keep a close eye on their children... and that the disclaimer MAY only entice the children EVEN MORE to watch the videos... what's the harm? It takes nothing out of hte video, it takes nothing away from your opinions and ideals... it just gives people a bit of warning about what they may watch. While some people won't care... others will.
I honestly don't see the harm in it.

ya'll are saying that they should parent their children better, but isn't requesting a disclaimer so that the parent doesn't have to sift through all the videos for curse words good parenting? Rather than spending over an hour having to check if a video is ok to watch or not, they can have a quick message say if it is or isn't. It's the same for movies that you buy. G, PG, PG13, R....they all have ratings so that parents can protect their kids from things they find to be obscene. If you think that cursing won't hurt them, then fine, that's your choice. But you're the same one bitching about bad parenting. I think allowing a child to hear vulgar language is awful parenting. Yes, they will eventually here it at school or on tv shows, but by ALLOWING them to hear it actually promotes such behavior which usually results in a worse outcome then if you were to protect them from it. So quit your bitching and take the time to add a disclaimer. You won't look less cool and it won't take out much of your time.

Sure, we could argue all day,
PARENTS NEED TO BE BETTER PARENTS BLAH BLAH BLAH..
But their not going to change.
Fortunatly, adding a small disclaimer (like brandon did ON HIS OWN withour prompt in the video "Minority Pimpin"), would be much easier than having "How to parent your child in a modern society" classes.
No kenny, I dont want videos to have anything ON THE VIDEO about a disclaimer although, again (brandon added a disclaimer in the video "the sickest video ever", again, without prompt), but I think, that the FEW videos that have cursing in them, could be simply marked in red.
The fact is, EVERYONE how knows me, knows about MMC. And when they go, depending on what they watch, they could get a wrong impression of ME, and MMC as a site as well.
NO! Parents dont need to GET WISE and understand how the world works. Well, maybe they do, but im not going to make it MY mission to do so. Not as long as we have 14 children in my house every afternoon. Not as long as I pick children up from a school in a car that says my URL on it. Not as long as people, wheverver I go, recognize me as the MILKMYCOW guy.
A simple Marking next to a video would be fine. In fact, what brandon added at the top is just fine actually. It just needs to be in RED, since it blends in to well to be noticed.
MMC was originally built to enterain EVERYONE. And for years, it did. We still have this policy, and only rarley cuss in our videos. Once upon a time, brandon would EDIT out cussing (cow song), so that the videos could be enjoyed by everyone.
It would not be much effort, at all, to just help parents moderate what their children see.
The children are going to see it, with a disclaimer or not. But if we have a disclaimer, at least we can say "we warned you". Every parent that has ever had a problem (there have been many), has said, "well, if there was just some kind of WARNING". Non of them have seen me in "the sickest video ever". Why? Becuase they were warned. And the ones who DID watch it, said "man, I should have paid attention to that warning". In any case, it HELPED.
I am not suggusting that we add anything onto the physicial videos (again), just a small marking, to designate the videos that have foul language.

I think it's pointless, and if you want a disclaimer it should be something general for the whole site, and not for each video. Or you could just put something in the Terms and Conditions, since it's assumed you read those and agree to them before browsing the site.
If parents actually sat down and did their own research, they would easily find out that this site wasn't for children. I mean, just go on the fucking forum for two seconds. Even the political forum is just a horrible example for children.
I'd like to note, though, that it's nice to see horrible spelling doesn't run in the family, or at least not on the mother's side.

I agree that it's stupid of people to label four letter words as "naughty." They're no different from other words, except for the fact that they serve to further emphasize whatever point the speaker is trying to convey. What's so "bad" about them? Last I checked, all words were made up of letters from the same fucking alphabet. Can someone please tell me what the difference between the word 'shit' and the word 'this' is? Why is one of them one of the most frequently used words in our language, and the other can't even be uttered on cable television? They're both 4 letters...in fact, they're both made up of the SAME four letters. They're both one syllable. Yet one is "naughty" and shouldn't be used in conversation...while not a conversation goes by without the use of the other. It baffles me.
Furthermore, any parent who doesn't realize that their kids hear this type of shit day in and day out are both naive and foolish.
HOWEVER, to come into this thread and say that a parent needs to regulate what their children see...and in the same breath say that the videos don't need content warnings on them is hypocritical as fuck. How can a parent regulate the videos without adequate warning? Here's an idea...think before you post so your thoughts don't blatantly contradict one another.
