Does anyone have any stories about going to the drive in? I went to the first one ever tonight. I saw NApolean D. and The Incredibles for 5 dollars altogether. And like 5 minutes of kissing. It was a lot of fun, but we were freezin ballz the whole time. Heck, I'd go back again though.

What an idiot.

It would help if she distinguished between "Drive In" and "Drive In Movie Theater".

Anybody that has never been to a drive in is a poon. If you've been to Sonic, you've been to a drive in. Drive in movie theaters..there's only like 2 in Texas, so that's understandable for people our age.

"freakin idiot"

I don't get it, she stated she watched movies, I don't think sonic does that.

She could have watched it a car via DVD player/car theater system while sitting at a place like sonic or something.

When you're talking about a drive in movie theater, you say 'drive in movie theater'

When you just say 'drive in'...the default application is a drive in dining establishment, ala sonic.

Down here all the negros have them before they even hit the theaters.

I think they call them 'bootleg' :-p

Heh I wouldn't think disney animated features would appeal to a negro bootleging audience : D

We got a "Drive in Movie Theatre" down here in East Texas. But it only plays porn and shit. I never went yet. But I bet there are some real winners there.

Haha, I like how the logical conclusion from her post is that she went to Sonic, and spent $5 to watch bootleg copies of 2 films on a portable DVD player.

Morons,

I knew that she went to a drive in movie theater.

But citing her thread TITLE ("Lets go to the Drive in") as evidence, one would think she's talking about eating.

I mean heck, even Sonics jingle is "Americas favorite drive in" ....not "...drive in restaurant" which indicates that the term 'drive in' is, by default, subject only to eating establishments.

To be clear (and fair) she should have added 'movies' or 'theater' to the end.

both drive in and drive in theatres are virtually non existant anymore.

I dunno, when I read title first thing I thought was movie theater, that's just me though. Make a poll on it. ;)

Me too. Jonathan's is just plain silly. It's like somebody making this post:

Title: Ugh, there's a big scratch on my door.

<!--QuoteBegin-Hypothetical person
So, I walked out to the parking lot tonight to get a book out of my car. As I turned off the alarm, I noticed that there was a huge, deep scratch on my door. Damnit.[/quote]

...and Jonathan being like, "What an idiot. It would help if you would distinguish between door and car door, because the default definiton of door is a house door."

That would be funny. Quite funny, indeed.
