There is much better stuff Jamey. Yes, I know what aftermax is. Maybe you should start out with the basics before you get into the big stuff. Protein for starters. I would take Swole V2 over aftermax anyday.

$30 for 5lbs of protein, and $20 for 300 grams of glutamine or something like that. You use glutamine in small doses though. It is an amino acid naturally produced in the body for anyone that is wondering.

Im starting a cutting diet. I actually worked out how many calories, how many grams of protein, and how many grams of carbs per day.

I was thinking I probably work out away to get this all these in a combination of a few pills, a shake, or some kind of nutritional power bar. But I guess making the diet off food is better than just taking a few pills. So I'm gonna have to figure out some complex diet with actual food. :(

The supplements that were recommended to me...

1.)Whey Protein Powder (http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/whey.html)
2.)Some sort of multi-vitamin.
3.)Glutamine (http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/glutamine.html)
4.)Creatine
5.)HMB (http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/hmb.html)

The first 4 make sense after I read up about them. Im iffy on the 5th one. I've known people that take the first 4, well not exactly number 1. But types of protein powder.

Meal 1 (7am) - 1 Cup orange juice & 1 whole wheat bagle or 1/2 cup of 100% non-instant oatmeal. 2 egg whites or 1/4 cup cottage cheese

Meal 2 (10am) - Trioplex Bar or protein shake

Meal 3 (1pm) - 1 cup brown rice, 3 oz lean meat & 1 cup of veggies

Meal 4 (4pm) - Handful of almonds & a fresh fruit

Meal 5 (7pm) - 1 small regular potato, 3 oz lean meat, and 1 cup of veggies.

Meal 6 (10pm) - Whey protein shake, this meal should be taken immediatly after you workout, i workout at night so this is about what time i take it.

I'm gonna go into law enforcement also, and I'm considering taking a cycle, myself. Two of my best buddies did one over Summer, and put on ~30 lbs each. It's perfectly safe if you know what you're doing. If you get the right cycle, you'll have all of the drugs you need to see results, plus those to combat any side effects.

You just have to read up on your shit, put together the right cycle, and you'll be fine.

You have to workout frequently and have a decent diet for them to work well.

12-03-2003, 07:26 PM
Yes, you still have to be devoted and work hard. However, steriods are never perfectly safe. If you read up on your stuff and do things properly, they can become much safer. You're still messing with your body's natural chemistry though. I would never do the stuff. I'm a believer int he natural route and don't want to take any short cuts.

NatrlBornThrllr
12-03-2003, 09:39 PM
Nothing is ever perfectly safe. Driving a car isn't safe. Breathing polluted air isn't perfectly healthy. I could go on and on. If you know what you're doing, they're as safe as any legal supplements. Yes, you are messing with your body's natural chemistry. You're also messing with it when you consume alcohol, tobacco, a soft drink or a cup of coffee. All I'm saying is that steroids aren't nearly as unhealthy as everyone makes them out to be, unless you don't know what you're doing.

Devin - Most departments I've been in contact with don't require a polygraph. That's usually only standard practice in federal branches. I hear ya though, after being a local cop for a few years (and building a resume), I'm considering going federal. The polygraph is something I'm most certainly NOT looking forward to.

Hey, I don't want this to seem like a flame, but there is much better stuff out there. Nitrotech is a waste of money, it gives you minimal gains and is way more expensive than most things out there. I can post resources if you like. I am no expert on supplements but I have done a ton of research on them and maybe I can help. What are you looking to do with your body? Do you want to add muscle mass? Do you want to get cut? Do you want to just get sronger and not worry about how your body looks? etc.

Yeah, most people go into law enforcement because they know/knew a family member who was involved in it. Nobody in my family ever had any law enforcement experience. So when I told my family what I intended to do, they were like, "what the fuck for?"

I'm not the type to sit a desk job, I like to be entertained. Being a cop, you never know what you're going to face. Plus, gotta love the power that comes with the badge. Hell, I've already gotten a good bit of power through my connections to law enforcement. Even though the money's not there, I can't see myself doing anything else.

I don't consume alchohol, tobacco, soft drinks, or coffee, but there is a BIG difference between that and steriods. True, they are not as unhealthy as they are made out to be when used correctly but there are still side affects and risks. One problem with people who go on steriods is that they become obsessed with the results they get from them and start to abuse them.

No...there are no side effects if you put together the correct cycle. You might want to read up on things a bit more before making such broad, generic assumptions. Ah, and regarding people becoming addicted...that would be abuse of the drugs, and I never said they weren't unhealthy when abused. I said that they're not unhealthy when used correctly.

Yes I do. No. I will never be in the back of a cop car for doing something wrong.

I hate how cops always assume that you did something wrong or how they try to entrap you into telling them things.

With all their fallacies of complex questions. Two questions are asked at one. The question is asked in such a way that regardless of how it is answered, the presumption of the first question is granted.

Policeman: When did you notice you were running the red light, Mr. Smith?
Smith: I didn't notice it, Sir.
Policeman: Well, Mr. Smith, if you didn't notice it, I am going to have to write you a tivket for careless driving as well as running the red light. You ought to notice such things.
Smith: Maybe I saw it. I think I was almost across the intersection when I noticed the light was red.
Policeman: So you admit you ran it! There's another ticket for willful negligence. You ran the light even when you saw it was red!

But I know how to answer these questions. When confronted with a complex question, explain to the questioner that she is asking two questions in one and that you will be happy to answer them both in turn. Then proceed to separate the questions. Your opponent's trick will fall flat on it's face. =)

NatrlBornThrllr
12-07-2003, 11:03 PM
A) A cop doesn't need to ask you "complex questions" in order to write you a citation for a traffic violation. All he has to say is "You ran that light, here's your ticket." He couldn't care less whether your admission comes via some complex interrogation strategy, or whatever in the hell it is you're talking about. In fact, he doesn't need your admission at all. Hence the line every officer is required to recite when writing a citation, "Sign here, it's not an admission of guilt, just a promise that you'll go to court by this date." So, yeah...what in the hell are you talking about?

B) You can't generalize an entire profession and base it on one hypothetical situation. "See, in the situation that I dreamt up, the cop tricks the guy...so this justifies the comment I made about all cops being on power trips!!!1!!one!!1"

Here's a hypothetical situation for you:

Cop: We found the man who killed your wife.
Smith: Thank you so much, this will be the source of a good bit of closure for me and my family.
Cop: Just doing my job.

If you're going to generalize the hundreds of thousands of men and women across the nation who work in law enforcement, don't do it with a hypothetical situation that would likely never happen in the first place. If that's the best basis for your argument, maybe that should tell you something. So if you want to debate the topic, at least come with something stronger than that.

Oh, and how about showing a little fucking respect for the people who put their asses on the line day in and day out in one of the most dangerous professions out there, all in an effort to allow your fat ass to walk the streets with no fears.

A.)Ya you're right he doesn't really need any proof at all really to write a citation. My bad...

B.)Cops do generally have a swagger of they're right and you're wrong. Condescending I believe its called. That is what I was trying to say by my statement.

Here's a real life example:
Like how when I was in high school and the school officer I assumed I broke this teachers desk. Since I didnt leave the room after the other guy who did it ran out of the room on the security camera right next to the room. They figured I stayed in there breaking the desk while that guy ran out because I had broke it. So the officer had me stand up against the wall telling me just to admit to breaking the desk that he knew I was in the room he had it on tape. Telling me I destroyed school property and as punishment I could... yada yada yada...

I had to convince him that I didn't do it. Innocent until proven guilty they say... Finally he started to be reasonable and stopped acting like he was just gonna take me to jail or something. I finally got him to agree with me that the other kid did it and him running down the hall to hide in the bathroom was admiting his quilt. So then the officer got that kid and made him cry. Then half way through his interrogation of him I got to leave as I was no longer needed.

I have respect for the Police in general it's a hard job. Yes some cops are good while others are not so good just like with any other profession.

Also Im not a fatass. Good job you of condescending though. My only good experience with cops was after my sister totaled her car one drove us to our house.

Other than that I have had shit stolen from me, things that have been fucked up because people tried to steal them and my car broken into numerous times. This has only resulted in me buying a new lawn mower, golf clubs, cd player, and etc... Also repairs for my car and such.

What do you expect them to do about it? Better yet, what would YOU do to solve a crime like that? You have no physical evidence, no suspect, and no witnesses. If searches of local pawn shops don't turn up any leads, there's really nowhere to go with a case like that. It's ludicrous for you to generate an opinion of a profession, and base it solely on a rent-a-cop from your school, and a handful of open burglary cases.

Regarding the condescending swagger you mentioned earlier, that's a part of the profession. I saw you mention Freud in a post elsewhere on this site, so I'll assume you're at least somewhat knowledgeable in the field of psychology. I'm sure you're aware that psychological studies have shown that over 90% of communication is nonverbal.

Keeping this in mind, you have to realize that a police officer is in a position of authority. This position demands respect. When questioning a suspect, writing a ticket...doing practically anything an officer does in a day's work...he has to have a bit of condescension in his demeanor. If he didn't, he wouldn't be given the respect that's necessary to expedite things.

For example, when questioning a suspect, if he doesn't have a bit of condescension in his demeanor, he's much less likely to get the cooperation of the person he's questioning. It's no different from an officer in the military addressing a private. He's in a position of authority, and his demeanor must reflect this in order to command the respect that he deserves. Just remember that condescension isn't always synonymous to belittling.

RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE! To bad they're commies. =(

You know it is a cover of NWA right? They are commies? I never knew this. Zach was better than Chris Cornell. Agreed?

Agreed. Cornell has a badass voice. Sure, Audioslave is different from Rage... So? They're both GREAT at what both have done. Two different musical styles by (basically) one band with a different frontman. If anything it's a testament to the awesomeness of the Rage musicians to be able to completely change their style at will.

What's the point in all this stuff? I mean, Jared's appetite-nullifying pills are necessary i guess cuz he's on a fat burning scheme. All of you had better realise that you need to exercise alot, these pills wont just work magic. Also anyone who is considering bulking supplements, if you don't exercise enough you'll end up a tubby little bitch.

I lift weights nearly every day. The point of all of it is to gain lean muscle mass.

Ya, I work out plenty. Especially cardio because of atleast 5 days a week of soccer. I lift weights about 2 to 3 times a week.
