They have not talked money yet. My boss(who I hate) just said he needed to talk to me the today. I was like "oh fuck" what did I do now ?

He said he wanted to talk to me about what it would take to keep me in the parts department.


Then only thing I can think of that will keep me here is money.

I do not know. I do not think there is anyway that they can offer me as much as I could make in the field. I figure they will give me about 14. So I am gonna shoot for 15. LOL. That will 14 will be a dollar and .25 than I am making now. I really do not know what to tell them. I am considering telling them that I am not interested and that I still want to go to the field.

I wouldnt tell them that.

Tell them that you love your job now and that you are learning all the time and becoming more and more productive in your job. Tell them that you know that you can grow and excell in higher positions in the job that you are at now and that you can be a very big asset to the company doing what you are doing....but you have a family to think about and you need to be able to provide and support for your family. Tell them that you need 15 to keep you at in this department and if you cant get that then its not really worth staying in that department when you can make more money in the field AND excel in that area as well. Either way you will be a huge asset to the company, its just up to you(your boss)to decide in which department I excel in.

There were idiots going 35mph in the fast lane, speeding up to 60 and slamming on the brakes back down to 35 again....CONSTANTLY!! It was ridiculous.

Not to mention the fact that I am really, really tired for some reason.
