la la la...I am sitting here on the best website ever and thinking about college. Ya college. I don't really want to go but I have to if I want to make something of my life. Well I was talking to my school counselor and he said that I have to start filling out my college applications. I was like WTF? I don't even know what college I want to go to. He told me that I better start figuring it out or else I am going to be in some trouble. OU...UA...UT...SFA...LSU...I DONT KNOW! What colleges do ya'll think are good?

Your school counselor is right...if you havent already been applying then you are pretty much in trouble...if you dont even want to go then dont bother going to a university...you wont be motivated to do anything if you dont want to be there...why dont you try a community college first like Eastfield to get some basics out of the way and see if you are really college material...if not then go apply at McDonalds...Im sure they can always use some help.

That's bullshit. I didnt apply for college until the second semester of my senior year, and i got accepted to UTD. And it was the only college i applied to. Fuck counselors, they are worthless pieces of cow dung. I got more "counseling" from my calculus teacher. I say apply to wherever you want to go to. If you want to stay around the metroplex try for UTA, UTD or SMU (if youre rich). If you want to stay in texas but get away from your current location go to SFA or TX state, UT, A&M, etc...Stay in texas though cuz its the coolest state in the USA

Well, If she wants to go somewhere other than UTD...or Eastfield...she should apply now and get the ball rollin. I dont disagree that counselors suck...they do.

And you dont have to be rich to go to SMU...I got here by brains and talent...my parents make less in a year than what it cost to go here.

find out when the application deadlines are for certain colleges and start choosing some colleges you might be interested in.

i've only applied to baylor so far.. and got accepted .. but i dont think i'll get enough financial aid, scholarships

I agree...you really should start looking at the amount of time you have left to apply for whatever college you want. If not, you will be out of luck when you cant go to the school of your choice.

Well, I can get a Mascot scholorship, and I was thinking about going to LSU, SFA, OU, UT, ect. I am not really sure were I am going to go to yet but I am applying now. I am really excited! And as of what Devin said about me not being college material...WHATEVER! I am not going to get pregnant or drop out. I am a big School Geek! I love school. If i dont pass...I cry. I make all A's and a few B's! Wanna say I am gunna get pregnant or drop out? I am smarter then you and I don't give a fuck what you think about me. I am gunna laugh at you in your face when I see you 10 years from now and you have made nothing of your life and me on the other hand...Graduate from med./nursing school and live in a nice house and drive my new Nissan 350 Z!! whatever you say Mr. Kenny! Umm I am most likely to go to LSU! That is the best college! It is out of Texas and away from all the bullshit. It is also really big in Cheerleading and "SCHOOL SPIRIT"!! Which I am all about school spirit!

okay, so you won't fight a person with one arm doesnt mean another person wont. I could of been in AP classes if I wanted to do lots of extra work. But I didnt because I cheer and that takes up all my time.
