as an FYI, SNL gets away with what it does because it's considered satire. It's called fair-use in terms of copyrights, I think. It gets a bit murky when it's a private citizen, however, and not a public figure or product. Not that it matters with a decent TOS and EU agreement, but just something to keep in mind. That's why the Inquirer and other such publications do lose lawsuits once in a while.
