View Full Version : The Grudge is one of the crappiest movies I've seen this year.

This movie freakin blew harder than anything I can remember this year.

It sucked so bad I almost wanted to ask for my money back.

It wasn't scary AT ALL, but most importantly...the movie made absolutely no sense. There's way too many loopholes and inconsistencies. Lame.

And to top it off the acting downright sucked...even from Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Don't bother seeing it.

EVEN from Sarah Michelle Gellar? You make it sound like she's usually a good actress :P

Yeah she is good. She is almost as good as Shannon Dottery(I know I just butchered that name, the bitch from 90210)

I guess you guys never saw Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, for which Gellar was nominated for 2 Oscars: Best Supporting Actress and Best Actress. She did so awesomewonderfully in her supporting role that she was given a special nomination in the Best Actress category. She played the character so perfectly, I mean, it was like...exactly the same as the cartoon! Also, if y'all haven't seen Stealing Harvard, you might want to check it out. I think she totally got robbed by the Academy in that movie, but at least she got a Supporting Actress nomination from the Golden Globes.

I'm not saying she's a GOOD actress, but she's by no means as terrible all the time as she was in this movie.

And The Village was 5,000,000 times better than this POS.

The Village was actually a good movie, regardless of how you biased jokers feel towards M. Night. The only problem with it stems from the way the movie was marketed and how audiences went into the movie assuming it was going to be scary.

Had the marketing and promos been different I'm sure the movie could have enjoyed more success.

I didn't even see The Village, and I don't think I'd go as far to say that it's better than The Grudge.

I didn't like it mainly for the fact it didn't do the Japanese version justice. Ju-on is way better.

Excellent.

I went to the 7:00pm showing to try to avoid all the annoying people, which would have put me out a little before 9 or so I guess.
