Why haven't you asked me?

I went there twice in one month of each other.

What are the details of the trip?

21st birthday? Single? Going with a Female? Etc.

The rich and the wannabe rich go to the venetian. Actually, the Bellagio draws most of the wannabes, and the Mandalay Bay draws the newly rich, so this place is left with a late-thirties to senior citizen folks with either loads of money or very good credit.

I agree with you on their buffet though, it's one of the swankiest.

If you are not caught up in the image of being rich, the Luxor is pretty cool. It has the Blue Man group and is moderatly priced and they run really good deals sometimes.

i so wanted to go here. But missed out.

It's called the Red Square. And is the best bar for Vodkaholics.

The cold war is long gone, baby, and Red Square offers a lot of compelling reasons why. This Belle Époque nightspot in the Mandalay Bay puts its vodka first, storing their huge selection of bottles in lockers frozen at 10 degrees below. They even provide a lesson in soviet-style privilege with private lockers for the favored bottles of Las Vegas luminaries, like the former mafia consigliere-turned-mayor of Las Vegas, Oscar Goodman. Deep red velvet booths, white tablecloths and dusty blood-colored velvet curtains suspended from 30-foot ceilings make turning commie look pretty darn good. Diners can choose from a menu including wasabi-honey-glazed tuna steak and pan-roasted ostrich fillet with a seared chipotle polenta cake and wild mushrooms. Throw in authentic mink coats and hats for tastings in the glassed in freezer and you'll be slurring the love song from Doctor Zhivago before you know it. Don't pass out on the bar, though: it's made out of ice and getting loose can be a real drag. Red Square at Mandalay Bay, 3950 Las Vegas Blvd., 702-632-7777.

one day when the apocalypse comes, aliens or some other beings are gonna come to earth and find vegas and go "what the hell? they have relics from all over their primitive culture here! this must surely have been the most holiest of places."

actually, its cheap.

mon/tues luxor is only 79/night. then circus circus is 89/125 on weds/thurs.

so, under $400 total.

I stayed at Treasure Island one time. It was pretty cool. Not the nicest place there, but I could not complain.

me danya and robbie (from bennigans) are going

4 nights, 2 queen beds in pyramid jacuzzi suite, flight, and rental car. $465/person.

thank god i looked on vegas.com, its so much cheaper. all the other places (orbitz, expedia, etC) were about $470/person without the rental car, and for a regular room!

Thats way to high! You can go for free! 1-866-go now. You must be 21 to even walk thru casino. I pay $174 for the week when I go.

right..

you dont have to be 21 to walk through a casino except @ the ballagio.

174 wouldnt even pay for a single plane ticket. much less 3, w a hotel @ the luxor, and a rental car, ntm its just a couple days after new years.

Fly charter. That is $174 per person. They ID you,and if underage they kick you out or take your winnings. The flight is usually $99 but can go down to $49. I'll e-mail you the info. The price is usually cheaper the more days you stay. They will even pay you to go sometimes.
