Probably not untill it comes out on DVD. I don't think he usually goes to the theater unless it's like the best movie evar or cheap or he's forced to. Maybe if you paid for his ticket he'd go and review.

Oh yes, the very weekend it comes out. I've been waiting for this movie for months now. I've watched every online trailer...I even made my roomie buy his new Punisher DVD at Best Buy so I could check out the free Saw promotional disc that they gave away with it. It looks to be one of the best psychological thrillers in a long, long time...and that's just from the previews.

Ha! Derek beat me, AND he was wrong (not really, though...I usually don't see movies in the theaters, but this one is an exception). My roommate is just as excited about this film as I am...so I have no doubt that he'll insist a group of us go see it on opening night. In fact, he mentioned the movie out of the blue today, saying that he "can't wait for it to come out."

Ha, I love Derek with all of my heart.
To help him in answering my questions for me, I figured I'd mention the films that I'm looking forward to for the rest of the year (likely the only ones I'll go see in the theater, unless I'm dragged along by a date or a group of friends).
Saw (just looks badass)
Finding Neverland (Johnny Depp flic that just looks really, really good)
Bad Education (I love Pedro Almodóvar, and Gael García Bernal)
Ocean's Twelve (I really liked the first one, so I'll probably see this one)
The Aviator (Scorsese....c'mon! I can't wait)
Meet the Fockers (Maybe. I liked the first one. I'll have to wait for reviews, though)
The Life Aquatic (I love Wes Anderson, so this one is anxiously awaited)

Yeah, I wish (but like, only if we lived in a place where homosexual incest wasn't looked down upon).

Wasn't Saw already released in the U.K? My friend has been talking about it for ages.

It's been out for two weeks over in the UK. I'm not sure, but I think that's because the US had to edit it for a re-rating (since it originally got an NC-17 over here), while the UK went forth on it's original schedule. That's just an assumption, though.

I was surprised when I saw Cary Elwes in it. I thought that guy disappeared but apparently, he's still alive and kicking in the movie business.
Never much of a horror fan myself. Seven freaked the heck out of me.

Well if I were to respond as JP I would have said I wanted to see finding neverland, oceans 12, the aviator, and The Life Aquatic; but not the others. I still have work to do and JP posts to study and learn from apparently. Continue posting JP. <3

Meet the Fockers...I'm still up in the air about. Saw's not within my usual taste, but, what about my taste is usual? And with a team of Almodovar and Garcia Bernal, Bad Education is most definitely on my list, and damn near atop it.
