My expiriences have been the complete opposite. Most baptists I know are annoying hypocrites(sp). They are all about Jesus at church...when people are watching. For the most part all the non-mexican Catholics I know are pretty cool, they don't act very christian-like, but they don't wear the I <3 JESUS T-shirt while they rip out pages of the bible for rolling papers.

It seems like a lot of times people call themselves christian just because their family might be christian or just because it's a general religion that most people in the us are. Then of course there are different kinds of christians, which I don't see many people calling themselves unless they're pretty into religion, in which case that's all they talk about and tend to get a little annoying.

i'm catholic and i don't think you could so one is better than the other, you have to look at the individual people, i know hypocrites from both sides...
