POSSIBLY TOO MUCH TRUCK. LIKE THAT’S A PROBLEM.

Your eyes don’t deceive you. It’s a pickup truck. From International. Which makes it much more than a pickup truck. It’s an International®CXT – born out of the proven International 7300 severe service truck used by professionals for the most rugged applications.

So you get all the attributes of a commercial truck – but you don’t need a commercial driver’s license to drive it.*

The legendary International®DT 466 diesel engine provides up to 6 tons of hauling power.**The air-ride cab and seats provide an exceptionally smooth ride. And aspacious and well-appointed interior ensures automotive-like comfort and convenience.

The result of more than a century of leadership in the truck market, the International CXT delivers performance. In a big way

This thing weighs 25,999 pounds...Just one pound less than needed for a commercial truck liscense.

The CXT is 2 feet taller, 4½ feet longer, twice as heavy and totes more than five times the cargo weight of H2. "You can put the Hummer in back and take it with you," quips Nick Matich, vice president at International Truck and Engine.

It's also about twice the price of H2, about the same as H1. It starts at $93,000, runs $105,000 typically equipped and tops out at $115,000 with DVD player, leather upholstery, tilting dump box and rear-view camera.

I saw the heavy duty chevy at the fair, and I guess I see some similarities, but not enough to write home about. Besides, International is a badass company, or atleast they used to be when they made the International Scout and Scout II.

As far as having a Ford truck bed, does it say that on the site or are you just assuming?

It very clearly is a Ford F-350 bed.. that's the first thing that jumped out at me and I would've said the same thing Jonathan had if he hadnt beat me to it :)

They dont have to say it for it to be obvious

I wonder if they make 38 inch spinners for those. I would take it, and slam it to the ground with extra hevy duty air bags and put some pimp tight rims on them yo.

for how big it is, it sure is better than a gas run engine.

Well then, I suppose it's a good thing that those 40'' rims were just photoshopped in by somebody.

...I wouldn't mind turning a vehicle into a Bigfoot-like monster truck that's all rim and little tire. I'd be in every new rap single. "My nigga JP rollin on 108's." I could be all, you put 29" rims on your new H2? Haha. Fucking amateur.

It would be great.

id rather have an electric car.

would save literally thousands to tens of thousands in gas prices and is probably faster.

I bet a school bus could outrun this thing. What's the point of having one unless you have stock in exxon or you tow houses for a living?

He's from the middle east. He'd be driving a big oil burning vehicle. then when he gets tired of driving it, he'd turn the gas into WINE and drive drunk.

deisel is most of the time more expensive than premium gas now, i have seen it selling for $2.16 a gallon, and most desiel trucks hold about 18 gallons or more not really sure just guessing, thats 38 bucks on fill up for 18 gallons, i bet that truck holds at least 25 gallons of deisel fuel, thats a whopping 54 bucks on fill up

but if they can afford to buy a 100,000 dollar truck it shouldnt be a problem

My Bronco holds 26 gallons and you think 3/4 and 1 ton trucks only hold 18 gallons? Ya right. When I buy premium gas it is $50 a tank, so expect much more for these guys.

What I don't get is that if Diesel gas is less refined than Gasoline, how could it be more expensive? On a side note, doesn't the Diesel Golf get somewhere near 50 mpg?

i said i was guessing abotu how much they hold, and about it being more expensive, i think the gas stations are taking advantage of deisel trucks, just to make more money

another person told me they are trying to stablize the use of regular unleaded gas and deisel gas, to lower the price of unleaded fuel

SexiMexi
10-23-2004, 04:08 PM
i filled up on unleaded the other day for abot 1.97 a gallon :wow:

conspiracy? i think so
luckily i have like a 4cyl 13 gallon tank, woot for hondas
