No, it was because Avery is fucking cool and he realized that.

*James speaking*

I'm pretty sure Cubes forced him out. On Dale Hansen Nellie said 'Cubes gave me an offer I couldnt refuse' implying that Cuban initiated it. I'm pretty sure it went down like this:

Nellie lost desire/passion and was losing his team. Nellie however isnt going to walk away from 5 million bucks just because he's lost the team and has no passion anymore. He's going to get his 5 million bucks and tough the year out even though he knows it's not best for the team. Nellie and Cuban both know this. So basically Cuban is forced to give Nellie a spectacular offer. So Cuban basically forces Nelson out, but Nelson gets what he wants anyway, so in essence Nelson forced Cuban to force Nelson out... excellent.

Avery was running practices all season long, and would spend a whole practice working on something that Nellie didnt end up even running in the game, so it really made things whacky on the players. It really wasnt a good setup at all.. plus the players respond better to Avery

The Lil' General will (hopefully) instill some of the crispness and discipline we've been lacking. All of this is moot though if we cant get healthy

I hope to God that Damp doesnt come back one day too early and re-aggrevate his stress fracture(s). Ilgauskas did that and it basically forced him out for a whole year
