I stumbled across the IMDB page for this upcoming film tonight, and I must say...it looks amazing. It's cut from the same cloth as Scary Movie and Not Another Teen Movie. According to the plot summary, it is going to spoof renowned popular (and mostly independent) films, including: Memento, Pulp Fiction, Magnolia, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Pi, Swingers, The Good Girl, Amelie, Run Lola Run, El Mariachi, and so on and so forth.
Two of my four favorite films are on that list (Memento and Pulp Fiction) along with numerous others that I thoroughly enjoyed (Run Lola Run, Amelie, Pi) and a couple that I own, that look good, and that I haven't yet watched (Swingers and Magnolia). To see spoofs of numerous films that practically define my taste...I have to think that this is going to be an awesome film (for me, at least).

Should be hilarious. I'm looking for a good Pulp Fiction spoof, as the only real good ones are from the simpsons. They made a whole film about it (plump fiction) dunno if you've seen it - if you haven't, don't because it was really horribly and not funny in the least.
You should see Magnolia immedietely! Make it a priority, great film, and you will love it.

We have movie nights often, though, and foreign films don't really do it for my roomie and his girlfriend (something about the subtitles, I guess) so that'd be a good one to put in the next time that rolls around. I'll watch it within the next week or so.
Family Guy made a nice Pulp Fiction reference in one of their episodes. Pulp doesn't get many spoof jokes, though. Hopefully the writers and director of this film know what they're doing.

Not to be Mr. Negative here, buuuut..I caught the trailer online around a year ago, and it looked horrible. The jokes that were trying, were trying too hard (sadly, ESPECIALLY the PULP joke) It really looks more like I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST FRIDAY THE 13TH than SCARY MOVIE.

Either way, I'm excited to see it.

I just dug up the trailer, and it definitely doesn't look as good as I had planned, but I'll still see it just for kicks. There were a few good parts, and there has got to be some more spread throughout.

I saw something about it earlier and it caught my eye, didn't read much into it though. Dude see swingers, everybody should.
I wanna see the Aristocrats.

The Aristocrats was hilarious, but it takes a certain sense of humor to enjoy it all the way through.

There were some great gags in this flick. I agree, everyone must see Swingers. Yeah they spoof Pi, its amazing how original this movie is when parodying some really serious films. It takes no prisoners.

Yeah the Aristocrats was pretty funny, not one to watch if your mother is in the room or at least close enough to hear whats going on.

This film was totally awful. 90% of the jokes were lame and the whole thing was just not funny.
The only thing that really worked for me was the subtitle bit with El Mariachi and Amelie.
