No way! Chocolate is the way to go most definitely! Though that depends on what you're making. Milk and water is best with chocolate. Though I make the best shake EVER invented with vanilla:

6 frozen strawberry's
half a banana
milk (or if you're trying to cut down on sugar, some cottage cheese and water)
1-2 TBS peanut-butter
1/4 cup oats
1 1/2 scoops vanilla protein powder

blend it all up and enjoy; yummers. Makes a perfect breakfast or meal replacement: high in protein, fiber, slow burning carbs, and good fat.

thats just going out with too much effort. Just drink the 8oz mixed with water.

Yea, chocolate is the most tolerable. It tastes like cold hot chocolate.

If you drink it with water you're getting nothing other than pure whey. If it isn't directly post training the absorption is so fast that 50% of the protein is going to waste and after 30 minutes or so you'll feel hungry. If you make a shake as mentioned above you're mixing protein with fats, slow burning carbs and plenty of fiber which will severley slow down the digestion of the nutrients to several hours. This will make you feel more full and satisfied and will also greatly help to utilize the proteins and calories over a longer period of time. It's not really much effort, it takes under five minutes to throw everything together and blend it. Plus it tastes much better.

your body needs 2grams of protein per pound that you weigh. Although for every so many grams of protein, your body needs calcium to make up for it, and then on top of that you need to drink more water. This will help your body rebuild faster and more efficient.
